I lied. The antenna pictured (dish straight up) is under repair. The antenna I am under is drinking the cosmos, as are the others in the background.

It is awesome when the dishes move. These were built for science, and they do a great job (soon to be better when the new Canadian collator is installed), but I am taken with their beauty.

Very Large Array, not to far from Socorro.
